I really enjoy this fried rice when my mother bought it for me as my lunch about i was 8 years old Ingredients:
2 lightly beaten eggs |
2 bowls of over night rice (cook the rice at night and leave it to cool |
so you can use it in the morning) |
a handful of mixed vege |
a handful of chicken chuncks |
a handful of deveined prawns |
white pepper to taste |
salt to taste |
sunflower oil |
Directions:
1. heat the oil 2. add the chicken and cook til its tender 3. add the prawns 4. put in the rice + mixed vege and fry till u can smell its fragance 5. in the same wok , push a side the rice so u can have space for the eggs 6. then add some more oil 7. after that add in the beaten egg and scrambble it well... 8. when it is about lumpy cover the eggs with the rice and stir the rice in and out 9. when the rice is almost done add salt and white pepper to your taste |
