                    Thick stew like dish. Recipe is from 1,001 Low Fat Vegetarian Recipes 3rd Edition by Sue Spitler page 137 Original recipe calls for 1 cup Farfalle (bow ties). Actually I forgot to put the pasta in, but like the stew just fin without. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1 cooking spray  |  
                                                8 oz zucchini  |  
                                                2 c fresh sliced mushroom  |  
                                                1 med onion, chopped  |  
                                                3 cloves garlic, minced  |  
                                                1 tsp rosemary  |  
                                                1 tsp thyme  |  
                                                1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes  |  
                                                24 oz vegetable stock  |  
                                                15 oz crushed tomatoes  |  
                                                2 tbs finely chopped parsley  |  
                                                1 tsp lemon juice  |  
                                                1 1/2 cup chick peas  |  
                                                4 oz uncooked pasta  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Saute onion, garlic, until soft. Add broccoli and mushrooms and spices until mushrooms soften and broccoli is bright green. Add stock, tomato and lemon juice. Garnish with parsley. 2. Note: I had some chick peas left over after cooking a batch for chick pea cutlet. Starting with dried beans is more work, but I am told they are easier to digest.                              |
