Spicy soup with whole wheat noodles and chick peas. This is adapted from . Ingredients:
4 cups water |
2 servings vegetarian bullion |
2 cups garbanzo beans |
6 ounces whole wheat pasta |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes |
Directions:
1. Cook the whole wheat noodles. 2. Make the vegetable stock. 3. Add the chick peas, olive oil and red pepper flakes 4. Scoop out a handful of garbanzo beans and puree them or use and immersion blender to add body to the soup. 5. Add the noodles and taste for seasoning, salt if needed. |
