Spicy soup with whole wheat noodles and chick peas. This is adapted from .
Ingredients:
4 cups water
2 servings vegetarian bullion
2 cups garbanzo beans
6 ounces whole wheat pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
Directions:
1. Cook the whole wheat noodles.
2. Make the vegetable stock.
3. Add the chick peas, olive oil and red pepper flakes
4. Scoop out a handful of garbanzo beans and puree them or use and immersion blender to add body to the soup.
5. Add the noodles and taste for seasoning, salt if needed.
