This is a baked chicken drumstick that is easy to put together and is a family favorite. I got this out of a Family Fun magazine, but have modified it to suit our tastes. Ingredients:
1/3 cup italian seasoned breadcrumbs |
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
8 chicken drumsticks, skinned |
3/4 cup plain yogurt |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 garlic clove, pressed |
Directions:
1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. 2. 2. Mix the breadcrumbs and cheese together in a bowl and set aside. 3. 3. Combine the yogurt, salt, pepper and garlic together in a medium bowl. Coat the chicken drumsticks in the yogurt. You can either marinade them in the yogurt mixture for a few hours or continue with the recipe as needed. 4. 4. Roll the yogurt covered chicken drumsticks in the breadcrumb mixture and place on a greased cookie sheet. Cook for 45- 55 minutes or until the juices run clear when pierced by a fork. |
