This is just one of those great comfort foods for me. Ingredients:
4 or 5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts |
1/4 cups margarine |
3 cups rice |
1 10 1/2 oz can cream of chicken soup |
1 10 1/2 oz can cream of mushroom soup |
2 cups water |
2 tsp check bouillon |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat electric skillet to 325 2. Melt butter 3. Salt & pepper chicken to taste 4. Add chicken and brown on both sides 5. Remove chicken 6. Add rice to skillet 7. Combine soups, water and bouillon 8. Pour over rice and stir together 9. Salt and pepper to taste 10. Replace chicken pieces in skillet over rice 11. Reduce heat to simmer and cover 12. Cook about 30 minutes or until rice and chicken are done. |
