Chicken With Mushroom Sauce |

Very easy dinner that looks a lot more difficult! I got this one from a Polish friend. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter, divided |
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves |
2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms |
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1 cup milk |
2 teaspoons lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. In lg skillet, heat 2 T butter on med-high. 2. Brown chicken on both sides; cook until juices run clear. 3. Remove and keep warm. 4. Add remaining butter to skillet. 5. Add mushrooms; cook and stir for 3 minutes. 6. Stir in cornstarch, salt and pepper. 7. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly; bring to a boil. 8. Reduce heat; add lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce; cook and stir for 1 minute. 9. Add sour cream; heat through. 10. Serve over chicken. |
