Simple stir-fry dish with great taste. Ingredients:
3 piece of fresh ginger |
11/2lbs boneless chicken breasts-cut into 11/2 cubes |
2tbs. canola oil |
1 large onion-thinly sliced |
2 garlic cloves -minced |
1/4c soy sauce |
2tbs. white vinegar |
2tbs. sugar |
1/2c scallions-sliced |
Directions:
1. Peel ginger and cut into 1/8 -thick matchsticks to measure 1/2 cup. Soak in cold water 10 mins;drain Heat oil in skillet over high heat,brown chicken in 2 batches,6-8 mins. Set aside. In same skillet over medium heat ,cook ginger,onion and garlic,stirring until browned,8-10 mins. Add soy sauce,white vinegar and sugar,cook over high heat until thick,3-4 mins. Add chicken,stir to warm. Remove from heat;stir in scallions. |
