I buy chicken breasts at Costco because I am constantly making or baking with chicken. My new addiction is chicken wings! I LOVE them if the wings are not greasy or oily but have a little heat behind the meat. Read more . I also love the blue cheese for added dipping flavor. This recipe combines everything I love and is super fast to make.
Ingredients:
3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
3/4 of a (12 ounce) bottle hot chicken wing sauce
3 t. butter
1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese
1/3 c. quality blue cheese dressing
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Place chicken in a pot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and cook for 25 minutes, or until chicken juices run clear. Drain liquid from pot and shred chicken. Mix wing sauce and butter in pot with shredded chicken. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.
3. Spread cream cheese over the bottom of an 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Pour chicken mixture over cream cheese. Top with dressing.
4. Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until hot and bubbly. I serve with Frito chips for scooping. VERY tasty! =D
