This is a hearty quick chicken chili. Ingredients:
2 cans navy beans |
3 cups chicken broth |
1 clove garlic minced (i have just used garlic powder) |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 can green chilis (4 oz) |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/2 pound chicken breast cooked and cubed (bought roasted chicken is good to use here) |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Saute onions and garlic in oil then add rest of ingredients. 2. Simmer for 1 hour. 3. Garnishes: sour cream, grated jack cheese, chips, green onions |
