This soup is great to have on a cool autumn night served with a green salad and loaf of crusty bread Ingredients:
6 tbls. butter |
6 tbls. flour |
6 cups chicken stock |
1 cup milk |
1 cup heavy cream |
2 cups chicken, cooked and diced |
salt and pepper to taste |
1 tbls. chicken granules (or 1 chicken bouillon cube crushed) |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat 2. Whisk in flour 3. Cook until flour begins to bubble 4. Stir in 2 cups of chicken stock, milk, and heavy cream 5. Stir in remaining stock, chicken and chicken granule 6. Salt and pepper to taste 7. Heat to taste |
