A very rich soup and simple to make. Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter |
6 tablespoons flour |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup light cream |
3 cups chicken broth |
1 cup cooked chicken, finely chopped |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Melt butter. Stir in flour to blend. 2. Slowly add milk, light cream, and chicken broth, stirring constantly until smooth. 3. Bring to a boil. 4. Reduce heat and stir in chicken. Add cayenne, salt and pepper. 5. Return to boiling and serve immediately. |
