Light soup for easy supper or part of main dinner. Good for adding leftover chicken or veg. Great with an italian bread. Serves 4 as main, six or more for side. Ingredients:
1 pound raw chicken cut into one inch cubes |
1/2 pound fresh cheese tortellini |
2 knorr chicken cubes or fav equivalent |
1 package knorr veg soup mix (any clear broth mix should do) |
oil |
water (about 3 litres) |
Directions:
1. In one gallon pot heat oil and saute chicken to light brown 2. add all but tortellini 3. bring to boil 4. add tortellini, turn heat to low and cover 5. when tortellini float and are tender then its done. |
