Home made healthy soup (the soup base is borrowed from another CC member, am sorry I forgot whom) Ingredients:
28 ounce tomatoes |
2 onions, minced |
6 ounce tomato paste |
6 cups chicken bouillon (or knorr onion bullion) |
1/2 tsp olive oil |
1 tsp salt |
1/2 tsp thyme (rosemary) |
1 tsp basil (oregano) |
1/4 tsp dill or 1/8 tsp nutmeg |
1 cup skinless chicken breast |
1 cup rice |
Directions:
1. Mash tomatos. 2. sautee olive oil with spices and onions. When Onions are starting to get soft add tomatos and chicken bullion. 3. Cook for 20 mins 4. Blender soup. 5. Make soup minus rice and chicken in advance, freeze 6. Traw soup and add cooked chicken and rice to it. Heat and serve |
