Chicken Tikka Drummers Ingredients:
16 chicken drumsticks |
500 g yoghurt |
5 tablespoons tikka masala paste |
2 garlic cloves |
2 tablespoons ginger |
1 tablespoon garam masala |
500 g yoghurt |
2 garlic cloves |
1/2 cucumber |
30 g mint |
15 g coriander |
Directions:
1. Lightly score the flesh of the chicken drumsticks and then put them into a large bowl. 2. Mix together the yoghurt, tikka masala paste, garlic, ginger, and garam masala. Season, then pour the marinade over the chicken. Mix well to coat the meat completely, then cover and chill overnight. 3. Preheat the oven to gas 6, 200C, fan 180°C Cover a baking tray with foil and arrange the drumsticks on the lined tray. Cook in the oven for 45-50 minutes. 4. Meanwhile, mix the raita ingredients and season to taste. Serve the chicken hot or cold with the raita as a dip, or poured over the top of the drumsticks. |
