Ingredients:
1 pint plain yogurt |
1 tablespoon cumin powder |
1 tablespoon garam masala |
1 teaspoon coriander powder |
1 teaspoon turmeric powder |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 lemon, juice of |
8 garlic cloves, crushed |
1 inch gingerroot, grated |
4 chicken breasts, cubed |
1 lemon |
Directions:
1. Mix the spices, lemon juice, ginger and garlic up into a paste with water 2. Mix paste well with the yogurt to make a tandoori marinade. 3. Marinate the chicken in the marinade for 2-60 hours. 4. Preheat the oven to maximum for at least 20 minutes. 5. Shake off excess marinade and place chicken pieces on skewers on a wire rack in the oven. 6. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until juices run clear. 7. Serve with a wedge of lemon. |
