Delicious and light saucy pasta recipe with chicken Ingredients:
6 ounces dried spaghetti |
1 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms |
3/4 cup chopped green peppers |
1/2 cup cold water |
1/4 cup flour |
1 1/2 cup of low-fat milk |
1/2 cube chicken bouillon |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
5 ounces chicken breast (cooked and chopped) |
Directions:
1. Cook spaghetti in lightly salted water and no oil. Drain well. 2. In a large covered saucepan cook the mushrooms and green peppers in a small amount of water until tender. Drain well and return to saucepan. 3. On a separate bowl combine the cold water with the flour until well blended and there are no lumps. Stir the flour and water mix into the saucepan with the vegetables. Turn heat to medium low and use a wooded spoon to stir constantly. 4. Add the milk to the saucepan, the chicken bouillon, black pepper, and salt. Cook and stir until it begins bubbling. 5. Add the cooked spaghetti and chicken to the sauce and mix well. Turn heat off. |
