bubbly chicken cooked in a creamy wine sauce with light swiss cheese on top of each chicken breast - add artichokes & mushrooms for additional flavor! Ingredients:
16 oz boneless chicken breasts |
1 can cream of celery soup |
4 slices reduced fat swiss cheese |
1/2 cup of dry cooking sherry |
1 cup of croutons |
Directions:
1. place chicken breasts into baking pan or casserole dish 2. mix soup with sherry or dry white wiine 3. place a slice of swiss cheese on each chicken breast 4. pour sauce over top of chicken & cheese 5. top with crushed croutons (dot with butter if you don't mind the extra calories) 6. bake at 325 for an hour until bubbly, test chicken for doneness as thicker pieces may take longer |
