This is a different take on an old time favorite. Ingredients:
1 pound bonless chicken breast |
1/2 cup onion chopped |
1 cup mushrooms sliced thin |
2 cloves garlic |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup warm water |
2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon granules |
2 tablespoons flour |
8 oz. sour cream |
12 oz. bag egg noodles |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Cut chicken into bite size pieces 2. In a large skillet melt butter and add onions and garlic cook until tender. 3. Add chicken and salt and pepper , cook untl chicken is brown 4. Add mushrooms and cook until they are tender 5. With warm water dissolve chicken bouillon, add to skillet 6. Stir flour into sour cream then whisk into skillet , cook until all is incorporated. 7. Serve over egg noodles |
