serve with egg noodles or boiled potatoes Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb chicken breast |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 cup chicken stock |
2 tbsp whole wheat flour |
1 small onion |
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced |
1 slice pumpernickel bread, toasted |
Directions:
1. Cut the chicken thinnly. Roll in the flour and fry in a large skillet quickly. Do it in batches so you don't overcook the meat. 2. In a separate skillet sautee the onions and mushrooms. Once cooked add meat, sour cream, stock and bread. Cook over medium all until liquid is boiling, stirring constantly so nothing skicks to the bottom. Serve over egg noodles or with potatoes. |
