Thick stew Ingredients:
1/4 cup flour |
3 tablespoons margarine |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
2 1/3 lbs chicken breasts |
2 lbs mixed vegetables |
3 sage leaves |
1 1/2 cups chicken broth |
Directions:
1. Chop Chicken into 1 inch pieces. In a dutch oven, heat olive oil on high heat and brown chicken for 4-5 minutes. 2. Remove chicken from pot. 3. Add margarine and cook sage leaves for 1 minute. Remove sage and add vegetables. Sprinkle flour over vegetables and mix for 1 minute until blended. Add chicken broth and chicken together and cook it up. 4. Serve over rice or noodles. |
