I had not put anything out to make today, was not expecting to be gone all day at doctors either. So I got home and searched. This is what I came up with! Ingredients:
2 - 32 ounce cartons of ready to serve chicken broth |
1 - 32 ounce package chicken strips with rib meat |
1 - 10 ounce bag fresh spinach |
1 bag of spiral noodles, the different colored ones, it makes for a more fun meal if you have kids |
14 slices of cheese, or a cup of your favorite cheese, i used have american slices and half swiss slices. i would have prefered fat free slices... |
1 - 16 ounce container smart balance sour cream |
1 tomato, diced |
Directions:
1. Put the broth on to boil in a large pan. 2. Toss in the chicken strips right away. 3. I also tossed the spinach in right away so it would not look like spinach to the kids when it was done. 4. When the broth is boiling, add the noodles, cook until done. 5. Toss in the cheese and stir to melt. 6. Add the sour cream. 7. Mix well. 8. Add the diced tomatoes. 9.
