Canned Chicken in a white wine sauce over spaghetti Ingredients:
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
3 garlic cloves |
1/3 cup yellow onion, chopped |
1 (10 ounce) can canned chicken breast meat |
1 cup chardonnay wine |
14 ounces tomatoes, peeled |
8 ounces spaghetti |
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add clove of garlic and diced onion and allow to brown taking caution not to burn. Add drained tuna and brown. Sprinkle tuna with Chardonnay wine and allow to reduce. 2. Drain and puree can of peeled tomatoes. Add to sauce, cook for 15 minutes. 3. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain pasta, retaining some of the water. Add drained pasta to sauce immediately. Cook in pan on reduced heat for approximately 4 minutes and serve. |
