This appetizer was served at the wedding reception and the guests loved it. Ingredients:
3 lbs frozen chicken tenderloins |
1/2 can (101/2 oz.)low sodium chicken broth, divied |
1/2 medium onion, chopped |
2 green onion, sliced |
1/3 cup soy sauce |
3 clove garlic |
2 tsp ground ginger powder |
1 tsp grould cumin |
1 tsp turmeric |
1/2 cup penuts sauce |
Directions:
1. Using a food processor, mix the chopped onions, garlic, green onion until almost smooth; season with ginger, cumin turmeric powders and broth, soy sauce. 2. Keep chicken in resealable plastic bag. Add 1/2 of the above mixture; seal bag. Turn to evenly coat chicken. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes. 3. Heat broiler; remove chicken from marinade. Discard bag and marinade. thread chicken onto skewers. Place on rack of broiler pan. 4. Broil 8 to 10 minutes or until chicken is cooking through, turning occasionally. 5. Serve chicken skewer with sauce.. |
