Chicken Salad With Bacon Lettuce And Tomato |

The Worcestershire makes this interesting to me. Ditto, the avocado. Ingredients:
3 cups chicken, cooked and cubed |
5 slices bacon |
2 stalks celery, sliced |
1 cup fresh tomato, chopped |
3/4 cup mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped |
2 tablespoons green onion, chopped |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1 dash worcestershire sauce |
salt and pepper to taste |
12 leave romaine lettuce |
1 avocado, peeled, seeded and sliced |
Directions:
1. Place bacon in a large skillet. 2. Cook over medium high heat until evenly browned. 3. Drain, crumble and set aside. 4. Prepare dressing by mixing mayonnaise, parsley, green onion, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. 5. Stir together the chicken breast, tomatoes and bacon. 6. Pour dressing over mixture and toss to coat. 7. Refrigerate until chilled. 8. Serve over lettuce leaves. 9. Garnish with avocado slices. |
