A basic Chcicken Salad recipe, wonderful on it's own or go with your imagination. . The Tea Room served this on Iceburg Lettuce leaves with tomato aspic rings rz#318144 and jumbo stuffed green olives. The system wouldn't let me list the Tea Room's Special Salad Dressing in ingredients, so I just listed the components which is okay too. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups diced cooked chicken |
1 1/4 cups diced celery |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup durkee's relish sandwich spread |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix chicken and celery with enough Special Dressing to moisten (Mayo and Durkee's). Taste; season with salt and pepper. Serve on crisp lettuce. Garnish with Tomato Aspic ring and green stuffed olives. |
