I've had this recipe for 20+ years. I think it came out of The Dallas Morning News. Quick, easy & good. Ingredients:
4 boneless chicken breasts |
4 slices bacon |
1 can cream of chicken soup |
10 3/4 fluid ounces milk |
1 box uncle bens long grain and wild rice blend (not instant) |
Directions:
1. Line a casserole dish with bacon slices. 2. Pour rice on top of bacon. 3. Sprinkle half of the seasoning pouch (from the rice) over rice. 4. Place chicken on top& the rest of the seasoning pouch. 5. Mix soup& milk together and pour over chicken. 6. Cover& cook at 350 for about an hour. |
