This appetizer is great for any gather and parties. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 box long grain & wild rice original recipe
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1/2 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup chopped green onions
1/3 cup diced pimientos or diced red bell pepper
1/3 cup diced celery
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/3 cup chopped slivered almonds
1/4 cup milk
1 box frozen prepared puff pastry shells, thawed
Directions:
1. Prepare rice according to package directions. When rice is done, add remaining ingredients (except pastry shells). Mix well. Reheat 1 minute. Fill pastry shells with rice mixture.
2. Serve with a mixed green salad if desired.
3. Tip: This recipe is a great way to use up leftover chicken.
