You can't beat this chicken dish on a week night dinner. Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts |
28 ounces italian-style stewed tomatoes |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. Place chicken in baking dish. 3. Bake covered 15 minutes. 4. In a sauce pan over medium high heat combine tomatoes, cornstarch, oregano and garlic. 5. Stir constantly until sauce is thickened. 6. Pour over chicken; top with cheese. 7. Bake for 5 minutes uncovered. |
