A friend made this for me once and I had to have the recipe. It's the creamiest, yummiest chicken I've ever had. Not for those dieting though. Ingredients:
4 -8 chicken thighs |
1 medium onion |
1/4 cup bacon, chopped (or butter or both) |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
salt |
1 1/2 cups water |
1/2 cup sour cream |
2 tablespoons flour |
Directions:
1. Skin thighs. 2. Wilt onion in bacon or butter. 3. Add paprika, chicken, and salt; brown. 4. Add water and simmer till tender (about 45 min.). 5. Remove chicken from pan. 6. Mix sour cream and flour thoroughly. 7. Stir sour cream mixture carefully into pan. 8. Strain over chicken. 9. Serve over rice or noodles or dumplings. |
