These little nuggets are habit forming. My husband can eat his weight in these things. He likes them with sweet and sour sauce. I like them with Vidalia onion dressing. The only place I have ever bought this dressing is at Sam's in Marion Illinois, but I am sure it can be bought elsewhere. Anyway, it is a real treat with these chicken nuggets. These nuggets are super easy to make and a fast meal to prepare. I usually make french fries and coleslaw with this meal. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1 cup cornstarch |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 1/3 cups cold water |
oil (for deep frying) |
2 -3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size nuggets |
Directions:
1. Deep fry in oil at 375°. 2. Dip nuggets in batter; drop into oil and fry till golden brown (about 5 minutes). 3. Serve with your favorite sweet & sour sauce or with Sweet Vidalia onion dressing (My Favorite). |
