Yummy chicken noodle soup.
Ingredients:
16 cups water
2 pounds whole chicken
1 large onion, chopped
4 carrots, grated
4 celery stalks, sliced
1 clove garlic
8 ounces fresh noodles
1 tbsp salt, seasoned
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper
Directions:
1. Boil half a four-pound chicken in water on high heat until tender. Remove chicken; set aside to cool.
2. Reduce heat to medium. Add onion, carrot, celery, garlic & spices. Simmer for 20 minutes. Pick chicken, discard skin and bones. Chop chicken into pieces and add to soup.
3. Reduce heat to low. Chop noodles into 1 to 2 inch pieces. Add to soup and let simmer 10 minutes.
