Excellent recipe for when you are feeling under the weather . This can be made in about 30 minutes so its a fast soup too. I hope you like it. Ingredients:
4 cups chicken broth |
4 cups water |
1/4 cup carrot, chopped |
1/4 cup celery, chopped |
1 tablespoon onion, chopped |
1 tablespoon parsley |
1/8 teaspoon poultry seasoning |
1/8 teaspoon thyme |
2 cups cooked chicken, diced |
1 (16 ounce) package frozen egg noodles (partially thawed) |
Directions:
1. Combine broth, water, celery, carrots, onion, parsley, poultry seasoning and thyme. 2. Heat until boiling. 3. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. 4. Add chicken and noodles. 5. Heat, stirring occasionally. |
