Not only is this one of the most popular soups, it can be made easily in about 20 minutes. It is hearty, satisfying, and low in calories. Ingredients:
6 cups chicken broth |
1 stalk celery, finely chopped |
2 ounces flat egg noodles |
1/2 cup raw chicken meat, cut into bite-size pieces |
salt and pepper |
2 teaspoons chopped parsley |
Directions:
1. Simmer the chicken broth and celery about 5 minutes. 2. Add the chicken pieces and cook about 2 minutes, or until done. 3. Add the noodles and cook until tender. 4. Add salt and pepper to taste and garnish with the parsley. |
