Simple and comforting. Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken |
3 1/2 quarts water |
4 chicken bouillon cubes |
3 tablespoons butter |
1 1/2 onions, chpped |
1 1/2 sticks celery, chopped |
salt and pepper |
1/2 cup rice (uncooked) |
Directions:
1. Boil chicken in water until tender. Remove chicken, cool and remove meat with bone. Return to broth. Boil then turn to low, add remaining ingredients and cook on low for 45 minutes. |
