Chicken Marsala Magnificent! |

I made it tonight for my husband and he loved it - said it was the best Marsala I have made. It's not the traditional kind, but it is really easy and really tasty. Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
1 dash garlic powder |
1 tablespoon oil |
1/2 cup water |
4 tablespoons melted butter |
1/3 cup marsala wine |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Mix the bread crumbs, cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a bowl. 3. Dredge the chicken pieces one at a time, ensuring they are covered in crumb mixture. 4. Place the chicken in a shallow baking dish with the oil and water. 5. Shake any remaining bread crumbs over chicken. 6. Drizzle the melted butter or margarine over the top of the chicken. 7. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. 8. Add Marsala, cover with foil and continue to bake at 325 degrees for an additional 15 minutes. 9. Serve over mashed potatoes with a salad! |
