Easy chicken casserole with French Fried Onions and spinach. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked and drained |
6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled |
2 cups cubed cooked chicken |
1 (2 7/8 ounce) can french-fried onions |
1 (10 1/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup |
1 cup sour cream |
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Return hot macaroni to saucepan, stri in bacon, chicken and 1/2 can French Fried Onions. 2. In medium bowl, combine soup, sour cream, spinach, garlic powder and 1 cup Cheddar cheese. 3. Spoon half the macaroni mixture into greased 8x12-inch baking dish; cover with half the spinach mixture. Repeat layers. 4. Bake, covered, at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through. 5. Top with remaining cheese and onions. Bake, uncovered, 3 minutes or until the onions are golden brown. |
