Chicken liver lovers this is for you! The ones that don't care for livers, try it, you might like it. Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken livers |
1 lb bacon |
1 cup soy sauce |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F 2. Remove fat and membrane from livers 3. Cut livers into bite-size pieces(about the size of a marshmallow) 4. (I agree, chicken livers to marshmallows? no comparison!! LOL) 5. Marinate livers in soy sauce, garlic salt, garlic powder & worc. sauce 6. for several hours or overnite. 7. Reserve marinade 8. Cut bacon slices in half 9. Roll a bacon slice around a liver and secure with a toothpick 10. Place on cookie sheet or biscuit pan 11. Be sure pan has sides so liquid won't drip onto the oven floor! 12. Bake in 400 degree oven until bacon is crisp (about 20-30 minutes) 13. Brush livers with marinade several times during baking. 14. ********************************************************************* 15.
