This comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't tried any of the recipes yet. I'm putting them here so I can find them easier. Ingredients:
1 lb chicken liver |
4 tablespoons butter |
flour (for dredging) |
salt and pepper, to taste |
1/2 cup white wine |
Directions:
1. Dip livers in flour and fry in butter in skillet or chafing dish. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add white wine when almost done. 2. Serve for brunch with scrambled eggs. |
