1/4 cup dripping, from frying chicken |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
2 cups milk |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. In a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, combine drippings and flour. 2. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute or until thick. 3. Gradually add milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. 4. Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly. 5. Season with salt and pepper. 6. Serve warm with fried chicken. |
