Paula Deen Recipe. So good. I made it as the recipe states and pictures show. I think next time I will remove the mushrooms after cooking them for 10 mins instead of leaving them in the whole time. Ingredients:
4 t butter |
4 skinless boneless chicken breasts |
1 c sliced mushrooms |
2 t minced shallots |
1/4 t salt |
1/4 t pepper |
4 oz grated mozzarella cheese |
Directions:
1. Melt butter over medium heat. 2. Add mushrooms and shallots and sprinkle with salt and pepper. 3. Cook 10 minutes. 4. Add chicken and cook 10 minutes on each side, or until tender. 5. Transfer chicken to platter and sprinkle with grated cheese. 6. Top with mushroom mixture. 7. Cook and let stand 5 minutes or until cheese melts. 8. Enjoy the chickeny, cheesy and mushroomy goodness. |
