Classic low fat chicken curry dish Ingredients:
500 g chicken breast |
1 onion |
400 g canned tomatoes |
300 ml chicken stock |
2 tsp grated ginger |
2 tsp garlic (crushed) |
1 tsp cumin |
1 tsp ground coriander |
1/2 tsp cardamom seeds (crushed) |
1/4 tsp ground cloves |
1 tsp ground cinnamon |
1 tbsp curry powder |
1 tsp paprika |
1/4 tsp turmeric |
Directions:
1. fry onion until medium brown in fry light oil 2. add all spices and stir for 2-3mins 3. add chicken and cook until sealed 4. add tomatoes and stock and cook for 45mins until sauce has reduced and thickened. |
