Cresent roll dough and a great chicken filling make a delicious combination Ingredients:
3 oz cream cheese |
3 tb margarine |
2 c cooked chicken |
1/4 ts salt |
1/8 ts pepper |
2 tb milk |
1 tb onions |
8 oz can crescent rolls |
3/4 c seasoned croutons, crushed |
Directions:
1. Blend cheese and 2 tablespoons margarine. 2. Reserve 1 tablespoon margarine for brushing tops. 3. Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk and onions; mix. 4. Separate dough into 4 rectangles; press perforations to seal. 5. Place 1/2 cup of mixture in center of each. 6. Bring all 4 corners to center and seal edges. 7. Brush tops with margarine and sprinkle croutons over them. 8. Bake 17 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet. 9. Serve with a cream gravy if desired. 10. They reheat nicely in the microwave 11. Canned chicken will work really well in these. |
