Serve this entree for a special occasion or for a fun family get-together. You'll appreciate the easy preparation. Ingredients:
3 whole chicken breasts, skinless, boneless, halved |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 cup catsup |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/2 teaspoon orange zest |
1 1/2 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen) |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400*. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. Place chicken breast halves in greased dish. Bake for 25 minutes. Meanwhile in medium skillet over medium heat cook and stir onion in hot oil until crisp-tender. Add catsup, brown sugar, and orange zest; blend until brown sugar is dissolved. Stir in cranberries. Spoon over partially cooked chicken. Bake an additional 20 minutes or until chicken is tender. |
