Appetizer-size ham and chicken meatballs with the surprise of Swiss cheese in the middle.Cated in bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and fried and baked. Ingredients:
9 oz. ground chicken |
1/4 c cookwed,diced ham |
1 egg |
1/2 c bread crumbs |
3 tbs parmesan cheese or to taste |
8 oz swiss cheese,cut in 1/2 cubes |
canola oil for pan frying |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Combine chicken,ham and egg in larger bowl until well blended. Gradually add bread crumbs until mixture losses stickiness and can be easly formed into balls. 3. Form chicken mixture around cheese cubes ,forming 2 balls. Place on plate. 4. Hear 1-1/2 of oil in deep skillet to 350 degrees. Fry thre ballsuntil the outsides are golden brown,about 4 mins. Drain on paper towels. 5. Bake in oven until cooked through and cheese is soft,about 20 mins. Cool briefly before serving. |
