This is a old Family recipe, My uncle passed it down about 30 years ago Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken |
2 family boxes chicken rice-a-roni |
6 ounces french's onions |
26 ounces cream of chicken soup (campbell's) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Boil the chicken 20-30 Shred then set aside. 3. While Chicken is boiling prepare both boxes of Rice-a Roni Chicken as directed on the box. 4. Transfer Rice-Roni to a large bowl. 5. Add Chicken. 6. Add Cream of Chicken. 7. Mix Well with a wooden spoon. 8. Place in a well greased 13 x 9 Baking pan. 9. Bake for 45 minutes at 400 degrees. 10. Take out of oven and add French's Onions on top and place back into Oven for 5 Minutes(watch carefully because French's onions will burn fast)or until Golden brown. 11. Let cool for 5 Minutes before serving. |
