1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 tablespoon celery salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon paprika |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and blend well. Spoon mixture into a small airtight jar and label as Chicken Coating Mix Store in a cool dry place and use within 6 months. Makes about 1/2 Cup of mix. 2. Attach this to the Jar: 3. Oven Fried Chicken 4. Combine 1/2 teaspoon of mix with 3/4 cups unbleached flour 5. 1/4 cup tnstant nonfat dry milk 6. 2 teaspoons sugar 7. 1/2 teaspoon salt 8. 2/3 cup of hot water 9. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a medium bowl 10. Preheat the oven to 425F. Dip cut up fryer chicken in the batter that has been well blended. Place coated chicken pieces on a baking sheet and bake uncovered 40 to 50 minutes, until golden brown and tender. |
