6 oz Chicken Breast A delicious combination of orange juice, chopped onion and Swanson® Chicken Broth simmer together with chicken and rice to make a delightful skillet meal. Ingredients:
24 oz chicken breasts, skinless, boneless |
1 3/4 cups chicken broth (regular, natural goodness or certified organic) |
1/2 cup orange juice |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice |
3 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley |
1 orange, sliced |
Directions:
1. Cook chicken in medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 10 min. or until browned. Set chicken aside. 2. Add broth, orange juice, onion and rice. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 10 min. 3. Return chicken to skillet. Cover and cook 10 min. or until chicken and rice are done. Stir in parsley. 4. For a special touch, sauté orange slices in a hot non-stick skillet until lightly browned. Serve over chicken. |
