Anyone who loves Chow Mein, will love this recipe. No need for spending your hard earned dollar on take-out any longer. Enjoy Ingredients:
9 ounces dried chinese egg noodles |
10 ounces cooked chicken breasts, shredded |
1 red bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced |
3 1/2 ounces shiitake mushrooms, sliced |
6 scallions, sliced |
3 1/2 ounces bean sprouts |
1 garlic clove, finely chopped |
3 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 tablespoon sesame oil |
2 tablespoons sunflower oil |
Directions:
1. place the noodles in a large bowl or dish and break them up slightly. pour enough boiling water over the noodles to cover and let sit while preparing other ingredients. 2. preheat wok over medium heat, add the sunflower oil and swirl it around to coat the side of the wok. when oil is hot, add the chicken, garlic, bell pepper, mushrroms, scallions, and bean sprouts to wok and stir fry for about 5 minutes. 3. drain the noodles throughly, then add to wok. toss well and stir fry for 5 minutes. drizzle the soy sauce and sesame oil over noodles and toss 4. Serve immediately. |
