This is my Mom's chicken chili recipe. It's good, easy, and you can make it as spicy as you want Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained |
1 lb boneless chicken, cooked and cubed |
1 (4 ounce) can green chilies |
2 teaspoons cumin |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/8-1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder (to taste) |
3 cups beef stock or 3 cups bouillon |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped |
Directions:
1. combine all ingredients in a large pot. 2. simmer about 30 minutes. 3. It freezes well but remember that the longer you cook it the hotter it will be! |
