from darlene kossman she says she got the recipe the day of janis mothis funeral . i think this could work for turkey also. this makes ALOT ive made modifications in directions not the ingredients . i used chicken breasts cubed instead of whole chicken Ingredients:
1 chicken, cooked |
1 (12 ounce) package noodles |
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
2 cups chicken broth |
2 cups milk |
1/2 cup flour |
1 lb velveeta cheese |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. cook and drain noodles ( i cooked noodles1/2 way in stock it would be waaaay to watery otherwise and poured into cream mixture which i was cooking in the dutch oven. it filled it up 2. debone chicken. 3. in 9 x 13 pan 4. mix noodles and chicken ( i used 2 tyson chicken breasts which i cooked in chicken stock then added noodles to cook 1/2 way ). 5. then heat and pour over the rest of the ingredients except the breadcrumbs (i used 1 cup velveeta ,cubed ). 6. over the chicken and noodles 7. top the casserole with bread crumbs 8. heat at 350 for 30 minutes or til hot and bubbly. |
